This upbeat homecoming song is a fan favorite and If asked the artist would tell you that some of the personalities in the song are based on real people.  

Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar Saloon is real.  Jimmy John, Perkins, Kathleen - all real.  Silver City is not real - it's a stand-in for the Texas town of Quihi - which just doesn't work in the lyrics.
