Pity and Patience

One's first impulse is to feel fear and loathing, not just at The Great and Terrible Oz, but at his disciples as well.

Upon further reflection, one understands the supporters need pity.  It takes an incredible degree of naiveté and lack of judgement to be conned by an unsavory carnival barker as rude and crude as The Terrible Oz.

Of course, the victims of Ponzi schemes, lotteries and Las Vegas tell us that there is a multitude of these unfortunates living amongst us.

We can only hope that with time and a great deal of patience they will grow in wisdom and understanding.
