Vote!

"Jingoism, racism, fear, religious fundamentalism - these are the ways of appealing to people if you’re trying to organize a mass base of support for policies that are really intended to crush them."

-Noam Chomsky

If I had to hazard a guess the Democrats have been burning the midnight oil compiling an extensive collection of opposition research pertaining to The Great and Terrible Oz which stands every possibility, when hung-around the neck of the Republican Party, could have devastating consequences for the GOP by the time November rolls around.

The Terrible Oz continues to play the disaffected like Nero's fiddle. They don't realize he is a fraud, everything he says is a lie and jobs that have left for China long ago are not coming back.  Those jobs have already disappeared into lower wage nations such as Vietnam and Indonesia.   And all the while the Wizard is burning the Republican Party to ashes along with his chances of ever being the Leader of the Free World.

The Terrible Oz appeals to all of those who feel that the government has ignored them as their economic, medical, and social difficulties for years have worsened.  Just as the original Oz from Kansas worked the carnival side shows the Terrible Oz from Queens, NY has been an entertainer for years and knows how to tap into those anxieties.

The self-absorbed former Secretary of State – having enjoyed celebrity herself for years – has outwardly gotten away with indiscretions and decisions which may be illegal.

All of this is – of course – magnified by social media which allows for hateful and anonymous communication.

The hatred and divisiveness in this country are a consequence of the two parties having declared war upon each other instead of the real problems we face.

Wisconsin goes to the polls tomorrow in a free and open primary.  Please vote your conscience.
Turnout might set a recent record so allow plenty of time.  And do not forget your photo ID...
