Talking Turkey

In case any of my turkey hunting pals are reading this I want to get everyone's turkey hunting juices flowing and suggest that everyone only think positive thoughts about the hunt.

Mind you - I'm not going to be rash by being provocative or a braggart as that might invoke the wrath of The Turkey Gods.  Nevertheless, every week there are nice gobblers  posing for a picture on a trail camera.

While the adult males are definitely traveling in their bachelor groups as the breeding season ramps-up they'll eventually begin to compete for mates, the males will disperse and gather their own harems.  Flocks of hens have been cruising through on a regular basis and as everyone knows - where there girls go the boys will follow...
