Yotes!

Those wily canines aren't showing their faces anywhere on the trail cameras but we're finding evidence of their comings and going while out for walks.

Scat in the trails.  And there's no mistaking coyote scat - virtually solid rodent hair turd.

The girls have a unique method of handling these discoveries.  First they give the scat a thorough sniff then they pee on it.  Black dog gets first dibs and Bonde dog finishes it off.

I wonder if this is a territorial response, asserting dominance or some other exchange of information.  The canine equivalent of a a Facebook post via social urination. 

Where's a canine behavior psychologist when you needs one. 

Maybe I should put some of my Labs' scat in view of a trail camera.  That could make for an interesting experiment, eh?
