Dog Patch

Periodically I remind my dogs that their life is likely better than that of their litter mates.  I haven't any personal notice or knowledge or any evidence of this observation.  Moreover, I haven't any idea if they understand my musings but intuitively I think I'm correct.

After a weekend of non-stop water sports, rolling in the sand and poison ivy, catching frogs and generally burying the needle on the Fun-O-Meter they've been rather subdued.


I suppose I shouldn't tell them that they guys are returning in four days for Schützenfest...
