This English rock band traces its roots to 1962 as the Spectres.  Following any number of changes to their lineup the band changed its name to The Status Quo in 1967 and shortened it to Status Quo in 1969.  Prolific artists they produced more than 60 chart hits in the UK - more than any other rock band.  This song was released in January of 1968 becoming the group's only Top 40 hit in the United States, peaking at number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100.  For the states anyway – a one hit wonder…
