The Garden Chronicles

Weekly update on the garden.

As you can see from the picture above the 2016 garden is getting rather sparse.  Sweet peppers and broccoli to the right - adjacent to the electric meter.  In the background you might make out a row of excavated Yukon Gold potatoes in front of the kakai pumpkin vine.  And a row of carrots.

The tomato plants are gone and the remaining fruit that is worth ripening off the vine is setting on the timber edge of the raised bed in front of the wheel barrow.

Tomorrow I'll can about ten dozen (that would be 120) ripe tomatoes to be further processed into juice, sauce and other goodies at a later date.

It's been a good run this year. 

 Vive le Jardin Magnifique!
