The Swamp

This year is the first year in memory that I have not had to irrigate my garden.  Ample rains since it was first planted.  When there has been a spell of dry just about when I began to think about snaking a hose across the driveway to water my vegetables the rains would arrive.

The goddess of rain has been generous this year.

As a consequence there is water everywhere water seeks to go.  And while Silver Creek would ordinarily be dry or reduced to a few remaining puddles this time of year - it is flowing steadily.  And the dogs jump in for a dip whenever we walk in that direction.

The only downside is the daily ear drops.
