Paper is a biodegradable, renewable, sustainable product made
from trees. Growing and harvesting trees provides direct employment for
millions of men and women, and millions more in secondary, related
employment. Working forests are good for the environment, providing a
renewable resource, clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat, recreational
opportunities and carbon storage.
